APYC is one of the few Dinghy Sailing Clubs in Victoria open all year round. Now in our 140th year and with the 24 foot Acrospire ll sailing in its 100th year! 

New members are welcome and we are keen to help you learn the ropes of sailing and racing. Check out our Twilight Series and new Junior Twilight Coaching sessions.

Learn to Sail: 2011-2012

Dates:  Nov 12, 19, 26, Dec 3rd, 10th, Jan 21, Feb 4.
( 7 sessions in all)

Times:  Sat 9:30 - 12:30.
  •  adult course in Pacers (13yrs+)
  •  junior course in Corsairs & OziOpti (<13yrs)
Held Sat. 9.30am - 12.30pm at Albert Park Yacht Club ( between The Boatshed and The Point restaurant.) Fees include Albert Park Yacht Club annual membership.

The Adult Learn to Sail 20 hour program is an accredited 20 hours Small Boat Sailing Basic Skills 1 and 2 program combined (Yachting Australia). At the end of the course we expect you to be able to jump on any boat, big and small and be a valuable sailing member. This is a program jointly operated by The Boatshed and Albert Park Yacht Club.

APYC Notice of Race - Twilight 2011

Out Twilight Race series will commence with a Warm up Race on Wednesday 26th October@7pm. All members welcome. This series is ideal for those racing for the first time to cut their teeth in a less stressful event. More often than not the race will take around one hour to complete.This race will be held each Wednesday through till 14th December.  [Notice of Race]

Parking Permits

All members that are regular visitors to the club should consider an annual Vehicle Parking Permit. These are economical and convenient. Parents/Guardians of Junior Members can also purchase a Permit at a reduced rate.
