Welcome to Albert Park Yacht Club & the WinterSail 2024 Regatta
WinterSail is a friendly 3-day coaching & racing regatta for beginner to advanced junior and youth sailors, held on the sheltered waters of Albert Park Lake. Albert Park Yacht Club are pleased to invite sailors to enter the 25th running of this iconic junior and youth development event. Australian Sailing accredited head coach Susannah Gillam will lead an experienced professional team, providing quality personalised coaching in small group classes. What better way to refresh those skills and techniques in time for the coming summer series. The event program combines skills improvement, challenges, short course racing on Sunday afternoon, and lots of fun meeting friends. There will be relaxed free BBQs on Friday and Saturday after sailing, plus great food and drinks to purchase from APYC's galley. Presentations after racing on Sunday will recognise effort and reward results. Family and friends are welcome to take in the superb views from the Club's upper deck, relax in the warm club rooms, and enjoy APYC hospitality and refreshments. Entry includes APYC Junior Winter membership, with full use of club facilities. APYC races and sails socially year round. Boats sailing actively over Winter can be stored for an additional fee.
